Questions
- Do I need the club plan?
- Only to take payments. Free events and free membership cost nothing. The £10/month plan turns on paid events and memberships, and you can cancel any time.
- What is the card processing fee?
- A flat 8.5% + 20p on each payment (plus 0.7% on memberships), whatever card your players use. It covers Stripe's card and payout fees, and ballrs takes nothing extra from your payments. Many clubs add it to the price.
- How does that compare to a website builder?
- Website builders charge a higher monthly plan on top of their payment fees, and you still have to build the site. With ballrs your club page, events and team sheets are ready to go.
- How do I get paid?
- Connect a Stripe account from your club dashboard. Payments go to your Stripe balance and are paid out to your bank automatically.
